I always wanted to be a business owner. Something about creating something that "belongs to me", with all creative rights, and something I could be solely responsible for...
ALAS- TinyTree YOGA, yoga classes for kids!
I want to be a traveling kids yoga teacher, on top of continuing to flourish as a pediatric occupational therapist. I guess I am the type of person who get "itchy" for new experiences, don't know if this feeling is innate, or I "grandfathered" in these feelings through living in New York City. On top of the clinic I work in, and the special needs preschool I treat at, and the different babies and families I see in their homes, I am going on my very own YOGA ADVENTURE!
SO- I (with help of friends and family) we came up with a name and a logo. TinyTree Yoga.
Phase one, I have found different locations in the city to rent space for an hour at a time where I will be teaching yoga to children. Classes are still coming together, I am looking for Yogis ages 3&4, 5&6, and I would even be up for a Toddler and Mommy group!
LOCATIONS & TIMES:
39 W14th Street (Monday/Tuesday Mornings, 9-9:45am)
234 Mulberry Street @ The Mulberry Tree, a therapeutic boutique
(Wednesday 9-9:45am, Saturday 11-11:45am, 1-1:45pm)
391 E. 19th Street @ Watch Me Grow (Saturdays 4-4:45pm)
I am using this blog to help me get the word out! I never thought I would have a blog, I don't even really know what a blog is, but it was recommended by my smart and successful jewelry design friend (dores.etsy.com) as 'the way to do it!'. FINGERS CROSSED!
thanks to all who are reading.
